Theory of Reasoned Action

As the technical facilitator, one must help the group work together in an effort to reach a common goal. There are several theories that place emphasis on the ability to form cohesive teams. Though, the theory of reasoned action, which deals with attitudes that affect cohesive teamwork, is the most important. In it, Icek Ajzen and Martin Fishbein study whether attitudes predict behavior.

The theory assumes that people rationally calculate the benefits of engaging in a particular action and think carefully about how important others will view the behavior under consideration. In the case of class groups the theory would assume that each individual member of the group would calculate the benefits of creating the web page and also consider how everyone else in the group will react to the project. According to Perloff (1) the hallmark of the theory model is its emphasis on conscious deliberation.

Help with essay on Theory of Reasoned Action The theory is composed of four components attitude toward the behavior, subjective norm, behavioral intention, and actual behavior. Attitude toward the behavior is defined as the person's judgment on whether performing the behavior is good or bad. Subjective norm is the person's perceptions of the social pressures put on him to perform or not perform the behavior in process. Behavioral intention is the intent to perform a particular behavior and actual behavior is the behavior performed (Ajzen and Fishbein, 180). So each individual of the group must decide whether creating the website is a good or bad behavior, have the perception that the group will place pressure on each individual member of the group to perform their assigned tasking, the group must be ensured that member actually intends to do the behavior, and then have the individual group member must actually perform the task.

Attitude toward the behavior consists of two subcomponents. The first is behavioral belief, which is the belief of what the consequences of the behavior will result in. The second is the outcome evaluations, which are the affective evaluations of those consequences (Perloff, 1). For example, suppose you wanted to predict whether someone in the group was going to participate in the group project or not. First you would have to assess the individual's attitude toward doing the project. This would be done by obtaining a measure of their beliefs about the consequences, either good or bad, of doing the project. Then you would evaluate the outcome of the results to see if they have the intention of completing the project.

Subjective norm also consists of two subcomponents; the normative beliefs and the motivation to comply. Normative belief is the person's belief that specific individuals or groups think he should or should not perform the behavior. Motivation to comply is the individual's motivation to go along with significant others (Ajzen and Fishbein, 180). In the case of the group project the person believes they should do their part of the project and the motivation to comply is to work with the other members of the group to create the project.

Behavioral intent is the intention to perform a particular behavior. The theory of reasoned action says that intention is a joint function of the attitude toward the behavior and subjective norm. Therefore under some conditions a person's attitude predicts his intention to perform a behavior. In other circumstances, subjective norm predicts the intention (Perloff, 1).

Fishbein and Ajzen (175) state that most social behavior action is under the control of the individual. Therefore, the intent to perform a particular behavior should predict the actual performance of the act. "In sum, attitude toward the behavior and subjective norm determine intention to perform a behavior, and intention is the immediate determinant of the action" (Ajzen and Fishbein, 180).

The theory of reasoned action makes it clear that any attempt to influence the action of an individual, whether the goal is to change an attitude, norm, intention or behavior, must be directed at one of the individual's beliefs. Therefore to change a person's attitude it is necessary to know the primary beliefs on which the attitude is based. Then a message that provides information to change those beliefs must be constructed. Likewise, a subjective norm can be changed by attacking either the specific normative beliefs or the motivation to comply. By changing the beliefs underlying either attitudes or subjective norms behaviors can be changed (Petty and Cacioppo, 181).

As a facilitator communication with each individual of the group is very important. If an individual decides that they do not want to do the project, the facilitator's job is to figure out why and then decide the best way to change those beliefs. Each individual in the group has to believe that creating the project is important to them and the group. For example, if an individual is having technical problems with their part of the project, they may start to believe that they are not able to finish and in turn stop working on the project all together. As a technical facilitator, you have to help them with their part of the project and show them how important they are to the group. Research conducted over the years to test the theory of reasoned action has provided evidence that the relationship between attitude toward a behavior and actual performance of that behavior are highly intertwined (Zanna, 18). This means that as long as each individual's beliefs are changed, then the desired outcome will be reached.

The theory of reasoned action, explains how an individual decides which action they should take. It is this theory that explains how a technical facilitator should deal with each individual's beliefs. By understanding their beliefs on the project, then you should be able to properly communicate with each member of the group and show them how to meet the assigned task in a timely and professional matter.

Telecommunications Competitive Landscape

Introduction

In this paper, I will present the following four topics a summary of the competitive landscape of the telecommunications industry; competition is more or less necessary in the industry; how competition has influenced my business and life; and what leaders should consider when selecting partners from these competitors.

Competitive Landscape Summary

The competitive landscape of the telecommunications industry has become a major race down the information superhighway. With technological advancements creating new and better ways to communicate, competition in the telecommunications industry seems to have become more than just local and long distance services; these services now include voice, data, Internet access, cable TV, and multimedia. Because of this expansion, competition has become a major challenge (Bonocore 4). The emergence of so many providers makes competition possible, but it may not be the fierce competition of firms offering identical services as in long-distance telephony. Each of these technologies is distinctly different, with advantages and disadvantages. Even if there are many providers that could serve a given residence, there may only be one that can provide what that customer wants (Peha). There are too many companies to determine which ones will come out on top, but Bonocore feels that these six companies have a chance, they are AT&T, MCI WorldCom, SBC Communications, Verizon Communications, Deutsche Telekom, and British Telecommunications (4 - 0).

Competition More or Less

Since the AT&T divestiture in 184, competition has finally been realized in the telecommunications industry. Long distance services became the first open market for competition; local service has now become the most recent area for competition. In 1, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) granted NYNEX, one of the Baby Bells, access to long distance; this opened the doors for the other Baby Bells to enter as well (Verizon). But before this access was granted in 16 to competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs) who entered the local service market and grew in number (Telecommunications Act of 16). With all these companies in the market place, is more or less competition necessary in the industry? This answer has two parts for me; with more competition it could possibly lead to confusion for the customer. Excessive competition could possibly lead to many companies going out of business, with the end result possibly being one company dominating the market again. So, what I think needs to happen would be a level playing field of either several companies who would offer all of these communication technologies or several different companies that offer only a few of the different services available. With all of the different procedures and rules that go with all of these new services, I do not think that one company could handle all of them efficiently and keep up with quality and commitment to customer service.

Competition Influence

My experience with competition in the telecommunications industry has been quite interesting. Considering I work for one of the major telecommunications companies on the east coast, Verizon, I have felt the brunt of competition take its toll on the company. I watched many companies enter local service by using Verizon's facilities and also saw customers change from one provider to the next many times over. The FCC and the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission (PUC) would not allow Verizon to enter the long distance market until after they proved themselves by completing a checklist of thirteen items to demonstrate commitment in the competitive market in local service before they could enter the long distance market (Bonocore 8). Once Verizon entered the long distance market, I changed my long distance carrier and now have Verizon for all my telephone communication needs.

Leaders Selecting Partners

These are some of the considerations telecommunications leaders should have when selecting partners from the competitors in the telecommunications industry, they are

· Data - Know the companies infrastructure; how and why they use it

· Basic connectivity what the company uses for Internet access

· Understand the companies' WAN integration; call center integration, and contractual reconciliation/resolution (Gable).

· Determination of the best suitable company with the leaders company

· Customer-managed network

Summary

The competitive landscape in the telecommunications industry has changed from one source to hundreds of sources since 184. The industry went from a monopoly of AT&T to several hundred long distance and local service providers. The future of competition in the telecommunications industry is not company dependent anymore; Bonocore stated, "The real winners in the future will be those businesses that don't get stuck in traffic at the usual bottlenecks, but are able to break away and make customer-managed their next and final destination" (111). Telecommunications businesses and leaders, it seems, will have to change their way of thinking due to the amount of competition, the growth of technology, and customers demands in order to survive and prosper. Telecommunications competition could be bad if there are not enough or too many companies in the industry. With all of the acquisitions and mergers taking place, the leaders in telecommunications industry will need to determine exactly how their business vision will fit in the changing market place before choosing to merge or acquire a business. The bottom line is that competition in the telecommunications industry has just begun, so the future will be the true determination of the businesses that survive.

Republic Tower. This is Cessna three-niner, two-niner Echo holding short runway one with information Papa. Three-niner, two-niner Echo youre second in line for takeoff. Three-niner, two-niner Echo, Roger.

This is the conversation that takes place right before I take off for an experience of a lifetime. It is my trusty blue and white Cessna 17, the air traffic controller and I. The serious and professional tone of the air traffic controllers voice as it crackles through my sweaty headphones, sends me into a stark reality of the excitement in flying an airplane for the first time.

I begin to crawl my way around the twisted runaways as though I am a mouse stuck in some scientists' maze. I finally find my "cheese" prize, otherwise known as runway 11L, and take my place in line behind an executive Leer jet. While waiting for my turn, I feel beads of cold, sweat trickle down the side of my face in anxiety of what was about to come ahead of me. Suddenly the air traffic controller initiates conversation once again, and states in his repetitive and monotone voice, Three-niner, two-niner Echo youre cleared for takeoff.

As I thrust the throttle into full gear, the Cessna jerks back and then rapidly onward, hurling forward both myself, and the pointer of the speed indicator. The plane starts rattling and bouncing as it accelerates down the runway strip and I am reminded of the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" reality simulator ride in Disney World. As I gently pull back on the yoke to gain altitude, I feel the icy, cold metal penetrating the slick, black, leather gloves on my hands. Reaching a cruising speed of ninety five knots and an altitude of two thousand three hundred feet, I shield my eyes from the golden rays of sunlight streaming through the scratch infested windshield, which dance along the raw metal of the cockpit walls.

Once at a comfortable cruising altitude, my nostrils are able to identify the distinct aroma of the brown cracked leather seats along with the unmistakable scent of the fuel and oil mixture. The pounding of my heart is kept in rhythm by the repetitive and constant hum of the engine. I spot a group of five, pearly, white seagulls as they race across the nose of the plane, and soon afterward dive into the blue ocean below in their frantic search for food. Keeping a keen eye on all of the flight instruments, I am able, with the help of my flight instructor, to push my plane into a rapid nosedive in pursuit of the fleeing gulls. As the earth rushes toward me, I can feel the blood whip through my veins as my heart pounds with adrenaline and excitement. I sense the beady perspiration on my arms as they tremble with fatigue to gain control of my downward spiraling plummet.

After regaining control, I calmly soar along the coastline one hundred feet above ground level. I easily spy sand dunes that seem to stretch for eternity. The rhythmic churning of the propeller drowns out the thumping of the white crestfallen waves as they slam endlessly against the rotted hulk of a once magnificent wooden pier. I am lucky enough to slide open a part of the cockpit window to inhale the freshness of the crisp ocean air and taste the ocean spray of salt water as it kisses my wind-chapped lips.

Upon returning to the proximity of the airport, I spot the familiar one hundred-foot Republic Air Tower. Once more, the indistinguishable static voice shoots through my headphones and announces, Cessna three-niner, two-niner Echo, state your position. This is Cessna three-niner, two-niner Echo reporting over Belmont Lake inbound for landing" I respond. As the black rubber tires screech to a halt along the tarmac, it brings me back to the reality of everyday life and all of its trials and tribulations that I had left behind for those exhilarating and unforgettable forty-five minutes in the sky.

Temptation has been around since the beginning of man. It takes a great deal of strength to turn away from temptations. We face them every day and are forced to confront the devil in ways which are not always obvious. It could be a simple temptation such as finding a five dollar bill on the floor and taking it, not bothering to ask if anyone has lost money. A stronger temptation may arise such as you know that a friend of yours has lost a specific large quantity of money. You find it and deliberately decide to keep it for yourself. In both of these situations, a person was tempted and made the wrong choice.

At this point of my life, I will soon be turning seventeen. There are so many temptations that I face on a daily basis. Anger, or a short temper is something that I have a problem with at times. I am generally a happy person, but at times when I am very stressed out or nervous about something I tend to over react to situations. An example of this is one day my friend and I went out for lunch. She was in a bad mood and I felt as if she was taking out all of her anxiety on me. I didnt say anything and then when it came time to split the bill, she wasnt paying attention and she told me that I had to add in an extra six dollars. This would have not really been a big problem, but since I was frustrated with her bad mood I lashed out at her. I burst out a few nasty remarks about something that we previously argued about. Afterwards I felt bad, and eventually worked out okay, but this could have been avoided. I think that people have always had problems with anger management. Emotions can be very powerful and dangerous at times. Anger can start for a number of reasons. Some people have a stronger tendency to be more angry than others. In my situation, it is totally under control. I find that I get most angry with my friends not as much with my family. I feel this is because being a teenager, my social life is very high on my list of priorities. I get angry at my friends and often was tempted to say something that I knew I would have later on regretted. I dont always turn away from temptation, I am not not perfect and make many mistakes. This however, does not affect my relationship with God in a negative way. I know that God will love me no matter what I do.

I have a lot of priorities in my life. They sometimes change, but for the most part, my family and friends are on the top of my list. These are the people who I see all the time and love, share my secrets, dreams. They return that feeling and we support each other. School is important to me, I know that it will help me to get a good job in the future. God is on my list of priorities, whenever I feel very upset, I turn to God. All of these priorities I do follow, I definitely know for sure. Family and friends are very important to me, school I try, and God is healing to me in a spiritual sense. I dont feel pressured to put God last on my priority list because of my age or because of my friends. This is just the way that I feel. My friends are all supportive of myself or any of our other friends in having a strong relationship with God.

Christianity had to diversify itself a great deal because of challenges and conflicts, which confronted it during the period between its establishment with Jesus and the apostles to when it was accepted as the official religion of Rome.

The first challenge that faced Christianity was converting itself from a small Jewish division in Palestine during the 1st century ad. To a faith that was more universal. Christianity started with Jesus' Ministry in approximately ad and also to avoid the persecutions that followers of Jesus might have to endure. There were many conflicts that occurred at this time the worst being the persecution of Christians and the eventual persecution of Jesus himself. The death of Jesus was a loss for Christians at the time but it became one of Christianities most powerful assets. Christianity struggled at 1st with his death as his apostles had to go into hiding so that they would not be killed themselves. Jesus' preachings attracted many people to follow and believe in him but with his death and resurrection many more would convert. Peter was seen as "the Rock upon which the church would be built". Peter headed the new Christian church, moving its headquarters to Rome from Jerusalem. With this and Paul's ideas to take Christianity from being a division of Judaism to its own faith in approximately 44ad. . When the ideas of Paul won through, the factions that wanted Christianity to remain Jewish faded out. Christianity had overcome its first real challenges in this period with the persecutions of Jesus and his followers to the spreading of Christianity into its own faith and church.

From approximately 48 to 4ad. The Council of Jerusalem (1st Christian Council) wrote up a doctrine regarding circumcision and dietary law. The apostles and presbyters agree on this doctrine, which was written in a letter to "The brothers of Gentile origin in Antioch, Syria and Cylicia". This Council was a very important step for Christianity as it decided if Jewish traditions would be upheld in Christianity. The decision the council made would see Christianity take one of its early steps of braking free of Judaism and taking Christianity into a new realm. Paul had broke Christianity free from Judaism but many Jewish laws were still upheld in the Christian faith. According to the Bible the apostles and other elders of Christianity spent some time deciding wether or not to keep circumcision and laws of how food was handled and sacrificed, as Moses preached that. They finally decided to make the changes and with that Paul accompanied by Barnabas continued on his missionary journeys.

Another challenge that Christians had to face was the Great Fire of Rome in 64ad.

Buy cheap Challenges and Conflicts Christianity had to overcome from the time of Jesus to Official Religion of Rome term paper

The Great fire of Rome was started by Nero and blamed on the Christians. Then to squelch the rumour, Nero created scapegoats and subjected to the most refined tortures those whom the common people called Christians, [a group] hated for their abominable crimes. The crimes that Christians were seen to do was that they refused to believe that the Caesar of Rome was a god. This was a big problem for Christians as this blasphemy to the roman church was seen as a direct insult to Rome and its Faith. With this many Christians were executed. Their name comes from Christ, who, during the reign of Tiberius, had been executed by the procurator Pontius Pilate. Suppressed for the moment, the deadly superstition broke out again, not only in Judea, the land that originated this evil, but also in the city of Rome, where all sorts of horrendous and shameful practices from every part of the world converge and are fervently cultivated. This was a hard time for Christians as they were being persecuted by the Romans for starting a fire that was actually lit by the emperor of Rome. Christians were forced into hiding so they could practice their beliefs safely, without the fear of the Roman army invading the sermon and everyone being arrested. It wasn't until Nero committed suicide that the mass executions of Christians died down. The Roman heads still did not tolerate Christianity.

Some other challenges that Christians faced during this time the decision that the Christian council made to determine the official date of Easter. This was a hard decision and it ended up causing the church to split into tow fragments the eastern and western churches. The translation of the bible into Latin and other languages happened. The Christians that didn't want Christianity to split from Judaism were amongst the ones who protested the Bible being translated into other languages. With all the persecutions that were happening in Rome during this time the church decided to make all martyrs Saints. This was one way how the Christians overcame a challenge. The challenge being the persecution of Christians, and with this the church claimed that if you died for the church you would be seen as a saint.

Christians and the Christian faith have had to change the way it performed, from the time of Jesus to official religion of Rome. Majority of events that happened to Christianity in this time were difficult, but all of them ended up being important to the beliefs of Christianity today.

Like the death of Jesus, the persecution of Christians and the separation from Judaism.

At the time these occurrences would prove to bring grave consequences. But Christians overcame these obstacles and as a result the faith in Christianity grew stronger until the point where it was accepted as the official religion of Rome, a country that from the time Christianity moved to Rome was persecuting Christians now accepted it as its official religion.

Cuban Missile Crisis

As the end of World War II drew near, world politics began to change. Germany, the wartime superpower was crushed; Britain, a major world giant before the war, was destitute. The world was tired of fighting, and many nations (on both sides) were weak from the effort expended on victory. But two countries rose to greater heights in the postwar era the United States and the Soviet Union. They were very different from each other, but had one thing in common, pride. America was cocky, used to getting its way, while Russia was sneaky, and frivolous with its new power. They both sought ways to manipulate foreign policy and gain greater dominion. Eventually, their efforts crossed, and what resulted is the Cuban Missile Crisis. This conflict between Russia and the United States was an intense event, from its beginnings, to the roles of Russian and American leaders, and finally to its non-violent conclusion.

In discussing the Cuban Missile Crisis, there are several events that made this the climax of the Cold War. First, America's attack on a sovereign nation in an attempt to overthrow their existing government was a complete failure, and set America at odds with Cuba. Such failure at Bay of Pigs allowed the communists to remain and Fidel Castro to take power. President Kennedy realized that he had "made a tragic mistake" (Doc G) with his interference in Cuban affairs, and on October 14, 16, when aerial photos of Cuba showed Russian missile sites in construction (Doc M), he realized the threat. Calling together a committee called Excon, top military officials in America discussed what should be done. Intelligence showed that Russia had a possible missiles and 0,000 soldiers in Cuba (Brinkley). The debates within Excon finally settled around the moral issues of a pre-emptive attack on Cuba. America would be recreating Pearl Harbor, only this time as the aggressors, if they attacked. But the fact is, America did not like having a Soviet threat so close to home, and were determined to find a solution to this conflict that suited their desires. As for Russia, they were willing to remove their missiles from Cuba, as long as America removed hers from Turkey. But Kennedy did not see his weapons in Turkey posing any threat. He refused Khruschev's offer, reiterating his initial demand for Russia to remove their weapons from Cuba. Kennedy sent 180 Navy ships towards Cuba, and warned the nation of this "extraordinary build-up of Communist missiles" (Doc K). Behind the scenes, however, both men entered into negotiations and finally settled on a peaceful contract. The crisis dissolved, but not without leaving a lasting impact on the world, not just those countries involved.

From the beginning, the Cuban Missile Crisis was a power struggle between Kennedy and Khruschev. As tensions arose between America and the Soviet, each felt the need to test the others resolve. Khruschev knew that Cuba was like a pressure point of the United States. Kennedy had already stated that "Latin America" was as "essential" to the security of the U.S. "as Southeast Asia"(Doc C), and that their "attitude of nonintervention would change overnight" (Doc C) should any Communist threat arise. Kruschev needed to know just how serious Kennedy was, and thus missile sites began appearing in Cuba. Kennedy called it a "violation of Soviet assurances" (Doc K) and a "change" which could not be accepted (Doc K). But in their plight to gain foreign support against Russia, American leaders continued with proud demands, rather than appeals. For example, when "informing" (Doc I) France of the situation, Dean Acheson, an American, got this reply from Charles de Gaulle "France will support [Kennedy]. However, let the record show that we (the French) are being informed but never consulted in such an issue of so great importance to the whole world" (Doc I). Letters between Kruschev and Kennedy also show that America was willing to make plenty of demands, but yield to none. Kennedy ordered the Soviet's remove their weapons from Cuba. Russia replied with a similar request, you remove your missiles from Turkey, and we will remove ours from Cuba (Doc P). For, as the Soviets complained, nothing separated American munitions from Soviet land; they shared a border. But with Cuba, 0 miles of ocean separated the Communist weapons from American land. Still, Kennedy did not see the American forces in Turkey as being any relevant threat to the Soviets. Completely missing the relevancy of Kruschev's offer, Kennedy refused. For a time, it seemed as if the headstrong leaders would never come to a peaceful conclusion, but finally, at the risk of an all-out war with America, Russia backed down. Krushchev finally gave in to Kennedy's demands, and the missiles were removed.

Help with essay on Cuban Missle Crisis The peaceful conclusion to the Cuban Missile Crisis is significant for a number of reasons. Of these reasons, the most obvious being the avoidance of possible nuclear war. Had the United States entered into a nuclear war with the Soviet Union in 16, the World's more recent history would be drastically different. A war between the two world super-powers would have resulted in one winner, and the creation of a major dominant force in the world. Hundreds upon thousands of lives could have been wasted as nuclear warheads were dropped on cities across the globe. Such war would have split the world in half; no country could have afforded to remain neutral. And both Kennedy and Khruschev would have destroyed each other before they surrendered. With the limited technology available back then, scientists had no way of know the lasting impact of nuclear waste. Not only would it kill everything around it, but also it would leave behind deadly radiation that would have affected humanity for generations. The smooth conclusion to this almost cataclysmic event was critical, and demonstrated the power both nations had, and the power both nations were willing to use.

As the Crisis was wrapping up, both Kennedy and Khruschev feared the loss of control over their armies. Perhaps this factored into the hasty conclusion they entered into. But whatever it was that lead to the close of the struggle, it pacified each nation to the point of non-military aggression. The tension of the period slowly dissipated to the point where each country could remain on polite, formal terms with the other. Though at the time it seemed inevitable, a conflict was avoided, and millions of lives preserved, because of negotiations basically outlining who got to put missiles where. America risked a third World War to protect Cuba from the fear of the "evil" Communists, but in the end, battle was circumvented, to the benefit of all.

Friends come and go through out your lifetime. I can't even count how many best friends I've had since Kindergarten. I'm sure everyone has had one of those really close friendships (especially as a teenager). Where your always together, say and think you will be best friends forever, always being there for each other and do anything for one another. For a while you actually do. Even if its takes a risk of getting in trouble; in order to help a friend or have some fun.

I had a best best friend my th and 10th grade years of High School. We were hat you called best true honest friend; always together at school and out side of school. Was always there for each other when one of us was down or mad and needed someone to talk to. Even if you had to skip school or sneak out to get to one of them. We did a lot of things for each other. So if we ever got in big trouble at school or anywhere we didn't care or worry about it because we thought we had each other to cheer up and help out if something went wrong; and that we always would. We always wanted to have fun, go out. We never wanted to be home or with our families. Which is very sad I know! But listen! We just forgot about them and stopped caring. Our parents lost our trust big time and took a lot of my privileges away. I had gotten a sort of bad reputation at school with the teachers and administrators. See before me and her became best friends; I was making made real good grades, paid attention at school, and didn't get in trouble. (That was before her and me became best friends.) Then I changed. I hurt my parents because I was always wanted to go out and not be home with the, and I was disrespectful to them.

My best friend later found a boyfriend, which they fell deeply in love. Also, about that time I started to get in the stage of getting serious and stopped craving to go out, and even hang with friends. I guess I had grown up, and gotten out of the "rebel stage". I started to get way more interested and focused in school more. Well my friend was the opposite; she got worse, and I turned into my normal self after she wasn't around anymore. She quit school, called less and less, until never. She left me with the bad reputation at school, and angry parents at home; as a bad student who don't care about school and is a big troublemaker. I lost all of my friends and had no one. When I had changed, to my regular good self, started doing real well in school, stopped getting in trouble, and stopped fighting with my beloved parents. Some teachers still didn't trust me even then, and still talked about me; and I understood. So while my so-called best friend was out of school, getting married, pregnant, and a whole new life. She left me stranded. After she said all that she said, and we did all that we did for each other.

Later I started making good grade, the principle hadn't seen me in forever, my parents and I became BEST friends and I got their trust back after a long time. I never even felt like going out at all. I just wanted to be home with them. I got so close to them. Realized how MUCH I truly love them. Cheap Custom Essays on Learning friends wont always be there, but family will.

After time passed I got my license finally. Before that my parents didn't allow me to, because of the whole trust thing. Then my parents for my 17th birthday got my brand new DREAM CAR! A car I've been seriously obsessed with since I first saw it. (Volkswagen Beetle) I realized after all the things I did and how bad I hurt them; that they still love me, care for me, and still want the best out of me. I'm closer with them than anyone I have been in my life and anyone I ever will be. I figured best friends wont always are there like they say they will. It always ends, no matter how good the friendship was. I thought I was NEVER going to stop being best friends with her, and thought if we ever did I would like die. That's TOTALLY not the case.

I realized family (your parents) is the BEST friends you could ever possibly have in you life. They will always be there, and always love you n matter what. Never ever forget your family, your blood for someone else. Because family is your TRUE friends!

This is an amazing story. As we dug into it deeper, we found- from Le Grande and Peggy

A) The Japanese man later joined the church.

B) Was sealed to his wife and family in the Hawaiian temple.

C) He is now the mission Pres. In the North JaJoan Mission. (Not sure of the date)

Help with essay on Notes by bill and June Elkenburg

(Peggy's father was a mission Pres. In JoJoan- and verifies this story- which is condensed from the elder's diary.)

Marshel young, who condensed the info and wrote it as we now have it was the vice Pres. Of student bodies. Her husband was Pres. In about 146-'47.

Mr. A. O'Gawa told his story to the Pres of the Oakland temple when he and her family were attending a session there. Bert and Joyce Henderson were told by Nico Snell (all temple workers) that Mr. A. O'Gawa said, "My family and I were sealed in the very Temple I had tried to destroy.

On September , 157, Elder Robert Thomas Stout recorded this experience in his Missionary Journal.

Elder sto7ut and his companion were tracting that day in Matsumoto, Japan, When they came to the home of a Mr. O Gawa.

Elder Stout opened his visual aid kit to a picture of the Presidency of the church, but the man instead noticed immediately another picture which elder Stout had bought in Hawaii. It was a post card picture of the Hawaiian Temple from the air.

Mr. O Gawa turned pale and seemed shocked when he saw this picture. Then his told the missionaries about his experience at the temple. He had flown a fighter-bomber during the Pearl Harbor attack.

He said, "I had a very large bomb left after leaving the Pearl Harbor area, and I hoped to find a very special target for my bomb before returning to our carrier shop. Then I saw this place(pointing to this aerial view picture of the Temple,) and I was determined I would destroy that building. I circled and dove, but my bomb would not fall. I tried again and again, but SOME POWER STOPPED ME.

"Then I was so angered that I decided to dive and empty my machine funs, but I was really disgusted when my guns wouldn't shoot. I felt a strange felling come over me. I tried to more times, but the bomb would not fall and the funs would not shoot.

"I began to fear that I would run out of fuel, so I tried a desperate try, and I even thought I would suicide dive my plane into the building. But my controls would not work. They just were stiff (or frozen) and I could not dive.

"I then had great fear, and I realized A STRANGE POWER PROTECTED THAT WHITE BUILDING WITH BLUE POOLS.

"Less than two minutes later when I was out over the sea, I dropped by bomb and shot my guns, but I had hit nothing. I felt disgraced that I used my bomb for nothing, and I could not report my failure and strange story. So since my plane was not operating perfectly I though I would go back and try to empty my guns into the mysterious building with its magic power.

"But as I tried to turn around and go back, again my controls would not respond to my commands, and I felt a powerful influence and I felt I had angered God."

The missionaries told him that the reason he couldn't destroy the temple was because it truly was the house of the lord.

He said "It has a giant magic power that protects it. You two missionaries make me fell those feelings again. You must leave me along and not torment my mind and heart. Please excuse me, I am very busy."

Elder Stout says he did not really understand what Mr. O Gawa had said at the door. ("Mo kekko desu"). He thought it meant "come in" but found out later that it meant "No thanks". He was grateful he had not understood, or they would not have heard this marvelous testimony of how the Lord protects His Holy House

On One winter night there were three girls named Christina, me-Shawna, and Joanna who were outside driving in my go-cart. It was a cold night and we were all bundled up in jackets and any thing that they could think of to keep us warm. Christina was driving the go-cart really fast down the dirt road that was in front of my house. We didn't have any lights on because the battery on the go-cart had run out of juice. All of the sudden something huge jumped right out in front of us and Christina slammed on the brakes causing us to thrash forward. All of us were so terrified that we all started screaming and crying, but than I realized that that wouldn't help any thing so I told them to stop and we were going to find a way out of this. I turned around and saw very faint green eyes but I didn't say anything because I new that that would just make things worst. I tried to start the go-cart but the sudden stopping had locked up the braked. I told Christina and Joanna that we would only have to walk a mile to get home. Christina said what if we don't make it, I mean what if whatever jumped out in front of us was some kind of man eating animal. I told her that the chances in that are more than one a million. Joanna didn't say a word because she was so traumatized from the accident that she didn't even know what was going on. I told Joanna that everything was going to be ok but I had this gut feeling that something horrible just might happen if we don't be careful. We started to walk and I kept on seeing this pair of faint green eyes and I had to say something because I was scared to death. I asked DID ANYONE SEE THAT? They both said no and I said oh I was probably just seeing things, I new that I saw it but I didn't want to admit it. The next thing I know I saw them again so I told them to get down, so we hid in the edge of the woods completely terrified. We felt something grab our backs so we jumped up and ran as fast as we could. I yelled out WE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER! So we all joined hands running so fast that we didn't know where we were going. I pulled them both down and told them to shut up! Joanna said to listen cause she herd some loud screeching noises so we listened carefully even though it was hard to here due to our deep gasps of our fear stricken breath. The noise kept getting closer so we decided to walk carefully not leaving one foot print nor a single snapped twig. I realized that I just may die out here so I said to my two best friends I love you guys, you have always bin there for me and when I cry you always seem to cheer me up they sad a long speech as well as mine. At that moment we all started hugging each other and crying our eyes out. Joanna and Christina both said at the same time- we do not have much time so if we want to see each other again than we better get moving. We all wiped the tears from our eyes and got the courage up to start walking again. The noises kept on getting closer and even more horrid so we all held hands and started running. As soon as we new it we were surrounded bye these black creatures with faint green eyes and there were about four of them. The creatures started to move in on us so I stared thinking of a plain. I whispered to Christina and Joanna fight fight fight! I started to kick one of them with a strong round house in the face causing them to get really angry but I could tell that I had hurt them. Than Christina jumped on one of their backs pulling their hair but than the monster grabbed her and through her over his shoulder, biting her in her arm. Blood was getting everywhere from her arm. When Joanna saw what had happened she kicked the creature in his balls but than realized that he hadn't had any so she aggressively double punched the creature in his nose causing him to run off. But there were three more and Christina was injured laying on the ground screaming for help. So it was up to Joanna and I. The other three were very different from the other they had a different sound that seemed more deep and aggressive, there eyes were not green but full of darkness and evilness. Well I grabbed a large board with nails in it that I had found laying on the ground and swung it as has I could causing the nails to go into the creatures head killing it. There were two more left and I took care of one and Joanna took care of the other. Joanna was trying to distract one from going back to Christina but than the horrid creature turned around and with much force hit Joanna in the side with its large ruff paw causing her the thrush into a tree. While there were two left and only one of me I decided to brake off a stick from a tree and whacked the monster with it so hard that I knocked it on its feet but something really weird happened when the sun started to rise they all started to turn into the regular black bear and walk away I was so confused. I had no time to be confused so I tried my best to awaken Joanna but she had bin knocked out and was unconscious. Christina was bleeding really bad but still got up and helped me carry Joanna back to the house. Only my mom was home and was a sleep so I ran inside and yelled mom get up please something horrible has happened and I will explain on the way to the hospital but we must leave now Joanna and Christina are hurt badly. My mom got up terrified, and wondering what was going on. We ran them to the hospital and they ended up being ok and no deadly injuries happened during this horrible day. Different people have different opinions and ideas about what love is and this is reflected when reading the three poems. I believe that a relationship would not last or be successful if it didn't have honesty, respect, trust, friendship and commitment. To be in a successful relationship commitment is needed from both people involved and if commitment lacks then the relationship will not work. The views and opinions on love in the three poems are very different to what I would refer to as love.

Men's views on relationships are often slightly different to women's views but it is still possible for the relationship to work. The poem "I wanna be yours" shows the man asking the woman for permission "let me be your coffee pot" which shows that he will be dependable and reliable towards the woman. Although the woman is obviously in charge of the relationship it is clear that the man worships and loves the woman despite this. It is evident that this man would do anything for the woman and wouldn't make her do anything she didn't want to do or feel uncomfortable with unlike the man in "To His Coy Mistress".

Although "To His Coy Mistress" was written in the 17th you can see that a lot of men's views on love are still the same as men's views on love almost five hundred years ago. At the start of the poem it seems like the man is in love with the woman, as he is flattering her and giving her reassurance. As the poem progresses you can begin to see the man's true feelings towards the woman. It becomes clear that the man wants sex from the woman and he tries to get what he want by scaring her into it "then worms shall try that long preserved virginity".

The poem "Rapunstiltkin" again shows that the man just wants sex from the woman. Although the woman is more than willing to give him what he wants it not what she wants and the man couldn't have got it more wrong. The man is bringing her "sex manuals" when all she wants him to do is rescue and marry her. He doesn't know what she wants so he tries to guess. Trying to guess what she wanted was the worst thing he could have done as it causes the woman to destroy herself "finally she tore herself in two"

Do my essay on comparing love poetry CHEAP !

When comparing the three poems we can tell the man's view of love in all three but only the woman's view in one, which is "Rapunstiltkin". The woman wants to be rescued but she has been misled by what an ideal man is. She expects a knight in shining armour to whisk her away to his castle, when in reality she is not going to get anything remotely like that.

The techniques used in the three poems are very different but all the poems are just as affective. "I wanna be yours" takes ideas from music and repeats verses. To show his love for the woman the man uses untraditional and unromantic images to say romantic things "let me be your raincoat". Although the poem is untraditional it does not lack a romantic element. The man is trying to say to the woman I can't offer you much but what I can offer you is warmth, support, trust and protection.

"Rapunstiltkin" is a combination of fairy tales and a collocation of ideas and themes. The poem uses old-fashioned ideas and vocabulary mixed with modern ideas and imagery "keener than a TV quizmaster". The poem also uses symbols rather than words, which is another indication that this poem is much more modern than the other poems.

"To His Coy Mistress" is set out in three main stages. Stage one is flattery "two hundred to each breast". Stage two is scaring her into sex "then worms shall try that long preserved virginity". Finally stage three is team building. The man uses words such as "we" and "us" to try and persuade the woman. He also reminds her that there is not much time left for them to have sex so seize the day. Carpe Diem is the main theme in this poem.

Intense emotions in people of no matter how noble or dignified a manner can cause a change in character and deterioration in ability to control these emotions and use logical judgement. One such emotion is jealousy, experienced by one of the main characters, Othello, in William Shakespeare's play, "Othello". Othello begins as a successful, well respected Military General in the Venetian army, but, as the idea of jealousy is further embedded in his mind, his strong sense of confidence and pride starts to disintegrate and he becomes what he had always hated a murderer.

Othello was highly regarded in Venice, and the audience was lead to believe this before he even entered the play, with everyone speaking of him in good terms "the valiant Moor" Despite Iago's constant derogatory references to Othello's race, referring to him as "an old black ram", "thick lips" and sporadically using his name, making him into a nameless object, Iago also admits "the moor is of a free and open nature That thinks men honest that which seem to be so". Othello's confidence is shown when he remains calm and polite when accused of making Desdemona fall in love with him "By spells and medicines bought of mountebanks", aware that "(his) parts, (his) title and (his) perfect soul Shall manifest (him) rightly". Entirely content in his marriage with Desdemona "If it were now to die, 'Twere now to be most happy". Othello continues to use symbolism of "(his) soul's joy", with absolutely no signs of jealousy in his personality "…my noble Moor Is …made of no such baseness As jealous creatures are", until Iago manipulates him, implanting the idea of Desdemona's infidelity in Othello's mind, sparking jealousy.

At the beginning of the play we see Othello as the absolute antithesis of Iago's statement "I am not what I am"; he is honest, generous and noble. This remains until, having placed his trust in Iago, who, he believes is "of exceeding honesty", he becomes a jealous wreck, ignoring all logic and jumping to absurd conclusions. Iago manipulates Othello with ease, making small comments and allowing Othello to virtually argue his case against Desdemona for him. Othello begins to assume some of Iago's undesirable characteristics, using animalistic imagery "I had rather be a toad", as opposed to the beautifully striking poetic language he displayed when he was content with Desdemona.

As Othello's character diminishes with the thought of jealousy, peoples views of him begin to change also, with the exception of Iago, whose motive to deceive him remains, and Desdemona, whose love for him doesn't falter. Lodovico sees the change in Othello's character very clearly. From what he knew of "the noble Moor", his behavioural change from a caring and gentle husband to someone who strikes his wife he feels is out of place in what should have been civilisation, and he finds "(he was) deceived in him".

Cheap College Papers on othellos jealousy

Jealousy, "the green-eyed monster, which doth mock The meat it feeds on" altered Othello's mind greatly. His personality changed, as did the way in which he treated others. Although the idea of jealousy was initiated by Iago's cruelty, it was Othello that took these suggestions further, almost arguing Iago's case for him. This proves that "It (jealousy) is a monster Begot upon itself".

Willy Loman in Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesmen" was portrayed as a multi-faced, hypocritical man who did nothing but lie to himself about what he and his family were. Howard, Bernard, and Charlie show his personalities.

Howard is very harsh and straight forward with Willy and shows the audience how worthless he is, whether or not Willy himself realizes it yet. Howard tells Willy "I don't want you to represent us anymore" and Willy realizes he is being fired. It shows that Willy is so obsessed with respect and popularity that he doesn't even realize he is a bad salesmen. He is so hung up on the fact that he named Howard and has been working for the company for so many years that he thinks he should just get paid whether he does well or not. Howard reminds him that "business is business". Willy is just so stuck on his false realism that he cant see that he is a bad salesmen and should have pursued a different career that he was better suited for. Howard however, is a bit more of a realist and offers Willy a chance to go home and rest and then try to work something out.

Bernard is Charlies goody-two-shoes son who was a childhood friend of Biff. Bernard always studied and eventually became a successful lawyer, something that Willy has trouble dealing with. Bernard tries to show Willy that his sons could be good if they find the right thing and stop living in the Loman dream world. He encourages Willy and tries to offer him a job like his father did but Willy is too proud and full of himself to accept it. Bernard is always trying to make Willy realize the reality of his situation and that he could succeed if he heads in the right direction but as usual he will not listen. When Biff was younger Bernard tried to tell Willy and Biff that school was more important than football and that football would never get him as far as good grades would. Again, they brushed that off and went on with there ways, and in the end Bernard was right. In a way Bernard is Willy and his sons' bright side that never succeeded.

Charlie is the Lomans next door neighbor, and owns his own sales firm. He and Willy do not get along very well, but they are friends nonetheless. Charlie is always the voice of reality in the play, trying to set Willy straight on the facts of Willys situation, but Willy refuses to listen. Willy is also offered a job by Charlie and because of his usual false pride Willy turns down this offer as well. He does however, borrow money from Charlie. Willy has always been jealous of Charlie even though he does everything in hid power not to show it. Charlie is always making fun of Willy but, it is not so much to humiliate him as it is to try and tell him in a different way that he is too hung up on himself and his family. Charlie represents Willy's unknown side of what he could have been.

Write your Death of a Salesman research paper

Willy had many faces that were portrayed the best by the three preceding characters; Howard, Bernard, and Charlie. Howard is harsh and shows Willy's worthlessness as a salesmen. Bernard tries to steer Willy in the right direction but Willy's arrogance and false pride keeps this from persuading him. Charlie shows his unknown side, his infatuation with whatever he does, and his unwillingness to listen to others opinions. Willy is a very interesting character who leaves you wondering if you are following the right road in life.

Queen elizabeth I Mary I Dudley I SussexShe felt that a united church meant a united country and would therefore give her a more secure hold over the people. Catholic ritual was also retained (e.g. vestments, the position of the altar in the east) and this enabled many more to accept her Church. It also may show that she was trying not to push away Catholics and drive them into opposition, as this would weaken their loyalty to her.

However, even though the majority were satisfied with the Church, there were threats from both Puritans and Roman Catholics which can be seen to demonstrate that her hold over England was not totally secure.

Some Catholics viewed Elizabeth as illegitimate, an incestuous bastard, begotten and born in sin", another threat to the security of Elizabeths hold over England came with the papal bull Regnans in Excelsis in which Pope Pious V excommunicated.

Without money she was unable to maintain an army. The lack of war in her early reign reduced expenditure.

If no heir was named, then loyalty would be focused on herself only.

As a woman, any husband would have inevitably dominated and controlled policy.

When she was advised by the whole of Parliament (apart from two MPs) to execute Mary Queen of Scots, she still refused until she personally felt it was the right time. One such plot involved Mary, Queen of Scots, who had fled to England in 1568 after her second husbands murder and her subsequent marriage to a man believed to have been involved in his murder. As a likely successor to Elizabeth, Mary spent 1 years as Elizabeths prisoner because Mary was the focus for rebellion and possible assassination plots, such as the Babington Plot of 1586. Mary was also a temptation for potential invaders such as Philip II. In a letter of 1586 to Mary, Elizabeth wrote, You have planned ... to take my life and ruin my kingdom ... I never proceeded so harshly against you. Despite Elizabeths reluctance to take drastic action, on the insistence of Parliament and her advisers, Mary was tried, found guilty and executed in 1587.

Propaganda also helped Elizabeth to achieve this hold. Her propaganda policy was designed to maximise popular loyalty to herself - and was also designed to appeal to the ordinary person. She went on progresses round the country, and was a public queen. By showing herself to her people, she succeeded in gaining their loyalty - crucial to her if she was to be a secure ruler. She also had portraits painted, containing symbols of her strength. These were particularly important as she aged - she was still able to present a youthful image to the nation. If she revealed how much she had aged, people would see her as weak, and she would lose support, and thus security.

A Catholic style hierarchy was still employed, although the Act of Supremacy meant that Elizabeth herself, as opposed to the Pope, would be the Supreme Governor of the Church. Her aim was to create a national church, and the Act of Uniformity required a book of common prayer. It can therefore be argued that Catholicism and Puritanism were both dangers to this church, as anything which tried to undermine Elizabeths authority as Supreme Governor or acted as a threat to the stability of the church could be considered a danger.

Her 45-year reign is generally considered one of the most glorious in English history. Her church settlement probably saved England from religious wars. Investing in expensive clothes and jewellery (to look the part, like all contemporary sovereigns), she cultivated this image by touring the country in regional visits known as progresses, often riding on horseback rather than by carriage. Elizabeth made at least 5 progresses during her reign.

In 1588, aided by bad weather, the English navy scored a great victory over the Spanish invasion fleet of around 10 ships - the Armada. The Armada was intended to overthrow the Queen and re-establish Roman Catholicism by conquest, as Philip II believed he had a claim to the English throne through his marriage to Mary. During Elizabeths long reign, the nation also suffered from high prices and severe economic depression, especially during the 150s. The war against Spain was not very successful after the Armada had been beaten and, together with other campaigns, it was very costly. Though she kept a tight rein on government expenditure, Elizabeth left large debts to her successor.

Mary died later that year, possibly from cancer, leaving the crown to her half-sister Elizabeth.

Women in the turn of the century and before and after have been treated as a weak gender. In "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, the main character is plagued with a nervous disorder, which is termed hysteria. She is given the infamous bed rest remedy; the name says it all. Her husband and her brother are both physician's and they know best. She tries her best to fulfill their wishes. She doubts them at some instances, then she finds herself tired, and ultimately she goes mad from being pent up with nothing to do. By writing this story Gilman comments of the treatment of women during her time. Women are considered delicate objects and if we are left alone our ailments will go away all by themselves. The doctors during that time thought it inane to treat a disease that if given enough rest would go away. It did not seem worth their time to treat a crazy woman. Women are not allowed to voice their opinions, which can be a cause of mental distress. Given the time period men know what is good for women to do. The Cult of True Womanhood legitimized the reasoning of just leaving women to go insane. She obeys even though she knows that the cure she has been given is only deepening the misery she is in, but her inwardness tells her to follow her husband and brother's advice. In the end she goes utterly mad and sees a woman creeping in the wallpaper.

The main character is plagued with a mental disorder and the remedy she must follow is bed rest. She must do nothing and hope that her insanity will go away. Her husband and brother deem that rest is best for her. "Personally, I disagree with their ideas" (8). What can she do, she is not allowed to express her feelings, her voice goes unheard and is suppressed. Her duty as a woman is to obey men. She even doubts her own instincts, "I'm sure I never used to be so sensitive. I think it is due to this nervous condition" (8). Because of the society she lives in she even doubts herself. She is trying to cope with her insanity as well as the oppression of her life. Obscuring all of her feelings is a culprit of her nervous state, at least one of the factors. Instead of finding solace in rest she finds deeper solitude. She finds to explain to her husband that she is not getting any better but she expends too much energy in it because nothing ever comes of it. "…I shall neglect proper self-control; so I take pains to control myself-before him, at least, and that makes me very tired" (84). She finds herself being reclusive about her feelings with her husband. It is unnatural for her to hide her feelings; it should not take up energy not to express her feelings. At this time the Cult of True Womanhood held up the notions that woman are to obey their husbands, do what they are told and just be plain virtuous.

She continues her bed rest and she finds herself spending most of her time what used to be a nursery. On its walls is decaying yellow wallpaper, it is stripped off in patches. The pattern is a labyrinth that leads no where, mirroring her life as a housewife where she is not going to get anywhere above her role as a women. Aside from the walls, the windows are barred, like a jail. Her husband talk to her like a child, it is ironic that she ends up going mad in this room. She has to fight herself to suppress her own feelings and listen to her husband.

She takes great care to convince herself that her husband is right and she is just suffering from a nervous condition. At the same time she is fighting her thoughts that actually make sense as to what is right for her to do. She complains to her husband that the wallpaper is disturbing to her, but her husband finds that she is being picky like a child. "He laughs at me so about this wall-paper! […] He meant to repaper the room, but afterwards he said that I was letting it get the better of me, […] nothing was worse for a nervous patient than to give way to such fancies" (85). Here starts her descent into madness and her husband disregards her complaining about the wallpaper, he just thinks it is a knack for her to want different wallpaper. He believes she is being a child because she is letting wallpaper bother he, it is a fancy for her to let the wallpaper be an issue. Once again she just lets it be. She starts to stare at the pattern; here it starts to come to life.

Write my Essay on Imposed Insanity

The wallpaper starts to drive her insane, she is pent up in her life she cannot find the outside. She starts spending more time in the nursery; she starts to just stare at the wallpaper. "This paper looks to me as if it knew what a vicious influence it had!" (85). The wallpaper is almost tempting her to look at it more, the paper understands her grief, it will liberate her if she just unlocks it secret. "There is a recurrent spot where the pattern lolls like a broken neck and two bulbous eyes stare at you upside down" (85). The fascination starts, she knows there is something there. She starts to feel better because she has, "something more to expect, to look forward to, to watch" (840). It makes her feel better to stare at the wallpaper. She is close to discovering the truth behind the peculiar pattern. "The front pattern does move-and no wonder! The woman behind shakes it!" (841). She sees the woman creeping in the wallpaper. She has discovered that to ever become herself she has to creep in the darkness. She locks herself in the room and she is mad by this point because no one would listen to her. In the room she finds freedom. "I kept on creeping just the same, […] 'I've got out at last,' said I, 'in spite of you and Jane! And I've pulled off most of the paper'" (844). Nothing matter but that she keeps creeping, by creeping she has liberated herself from the conformity of being a women.

She ended up going mad due to the oppression of woman. She finds herself helpless and with orders to stay in bed and rest, to do nothing but wait around and eventually she will get better, if better means going mad, then she was given the right treatment. The Cult of True Womanhood upholds the treatment she was given. She was supposed to be virtuous, never speak up and so what her husband said without questioning. Woman in her time just obeyed and ended up in going insane because nervous aliments would just go away and in reality it made them go mad. This story is an early piece of woman's suffrage and was written "to save people from being driven crazy […]" (845). Women were treated as delicate objects that men knew exactly what to do, they were not to be expended energy on because it was all treated with rest. Nervous disorders was not considered a true sickness. Women were just to be left alone and not bothered with, their role was to obey and nothing more. Their minds lacked the understanding to comprehend what was best for them. Because she cannot truly be herself she creeps, that is her freedom.
